>  Timeless Sounds

Neel Dhorajiwala, professionally known as Dwala, is a composer, producer, and sound designer whose work bridges cultures and disciplines. With over 20 years in music and film, he has contributed to more than 150 releases across genres - from Caribbean anthems and UK soul to cinematic piano works and experimental sound design.

His career spans collaborations with globally celebrated artists such as Kes, Popcaan, Beenie Man, Sizzla, Bunji Garlin, Gilles Peterson, Jazzie B (Soul II Soul), and Abram Wilson, as well as production and post work for brands and platforms including Apple Music, BBC, MTV, Nickelodeon, Sony, Nintendo, Puma, and The Boiler Room. His early film credits include audio post-production on Hollywood blockbusters like Casino Royale and Mamma Mia!.

Drawing from Indian and African heritage, a London upbringing, and years spent living in the Caribbean, Dwala’s music is rooted in cultural fusion and timeless intent. His role as producer for Kes the Band shaped modern Caribbean sound with classics like Savannah Grass, Liki Tiki, and Jolene.

More recently, he co-created 1996 with Trinidadian artist Coutain - an album that topped the charts in Trinidad & Tobago, #1 single Artform, as well as all 16 tracks entering Apple Music’s Top 100.

In 2024, he contributed production to Kes’ album Man With No Door (Ineffable Records), a project that continues to push Caribbean music to a global stage.

Now focused on building his imprint Form & Order, Dwala is expanding into projects that highlight his dual expertise in records and scores. His latest instrumental piano release Glass Flowers showcases a cinematic, sync-driven sound, designed to live in both art and film.

With a catalogue that has amassed tens of millions of streams and a reputation for crafting music that resonates across borders, Dwala continues to shape sound with a singular vision: timeless, boundaryless, and deeply human.
