His kaleidoscopic career has taken him around the world to collaborate with a diverse range of musicians and artists, from Afrobeat artists in Lagos, Nigeria to Jazz with Abram Wilson in Paris, France. Dwala has produced music for internationally acclaimed Caribbean artists including Kes The Band, Beenie Man, Popcaan, Sean Paul, Sizzla, Bunji Garlin, and J Perry among others. He has also collaborated with UK greats such as Gilles Peterson, Phil Asher, Roy The Roach, and Jazzie B (Soul II Soul).

Furthermore, his audio post production work has contributed to award-winning Hollywood movies like “Casino Royale” and “Mamma Mia!”, earning him an enviable reputation across multiple audio disciplines.
With his Indian and African heritage, London upbringing, and Caribbean living, Dwala has been able to effortlessly blend his unique cultural influences into his music. His long-awaited 2019 debut album “Flavours”, showcased his unique sound and approach to composition.
Dwala's music can be best described as a Future Island Sound infused with a 'global cosmopolitan energy.' While he has navigated inside a variety of genres across the music scene, he has found some sort of home- away-from home in Soca & Dancehall specifically, and Caribbean vibes in general.
In the studio, Dwala has the versatility to wear many hats, however many of his biggest records have come with him in the role of Soca Music Producer (Producer, Co-Producer or Vocal Producer) with Kes the Band. With contributions to the classic hits “Savannah Grass” (NACC Calypso of the Year 2019) and “Like It Like This” (with Patrice Roberts), plus the recent blockbuster tracks “Liki Tiki” (with J. Perry & Michael Brun), & “Jolene” – it is evident that the sounds of Dwala are ripe and sweet. These four songs alone have generated nearly 15m Spotify streams which is over 40% of Dwala’s +34m in total Spotify streams to date.
Over the past 5 years, he has increased his output to an average of 15 songs per year, with these new songs averaging over 300k Spotify streams each, and many of these songs are just getting started. This impressive growth speaks volumes to Dwala's dedication to his craft, and the quality of his contribution to the musical projects.
Dwala continues to show his range, combining forces to make music not only with Kes, but also with the likes of Trinidadian stars Coutain, 1st Klase, and acclaimed songwriter Darryl Gervais. His most recent release saw him once again collaborate with Haitian superstar J Perry for the infectious Zouk fuelled track "Bidibam", a testament to his bespoke sound and unique musical style.
With an increasing output of high-quality music, an upcoming album with Kes, an EP with J Perry, and the debut album from Coutain under his label venture, Form & Order, Dwala continues to traverse the musical landscape without boundaries, transporting listeners across the globe to Caribbean shores and beyond.
